Beautiful Unique A-Line Wedding Dress with Pockets
This dress has a beautiful unique corset-style pleating on the top. The pleats open up at the natural waist and create a flowing curve at the hip down the A-line into a chapel train. Within the pleats, there are POCKETS, which is obviously why I had to buy it.
Lightweight compared to similar style dresses that I tried on. Thought I'd have a daughter to pass it on to, but alas- boy mom for life.
There is a small blemish (pictured) at the very top near the back zipper, right on the top hem so can only see if the back is rolled down (which would be strange, but hey-maybe?)
Alterations:
- I adjusted the neckline to a slightly more prominent sweetheart
- Added bra inserts
- The belt is handmade with French Alencon Lace from the Watters collection. It is attached with a simple side stitch and can also be removed easily.
- Bustle Pick up added
- Not hemmed
- Slightly taken in, 1/4 inch along waist so I felt "snatched"
This dress was professionally cleaned and preserved following the wedding. The preservation seal was broken on 9/26/2021 to confirm label size.
