Sweetheart Re-Embroidered Baroque Lace Modified A-Line Wedding Dress

I fell in love with this dress because it felt so romantic, yet simple. I wanted an unembellished dress that wasn't shiny, and the other gowns I tried on fell a little flat. The Venetian Corded lace adds a beautiful texture, and the scalloped edge of the train is a subtly but special detail.
The dress was mainly altered in the bust area because the bodice came up too high for my liking. The original dress has a kind of triangular V-Neck Shape, that I got rid of because it looked a bit "pointy" against the soft lines of my body. I also removed a layer of crinoline in the skirt because it was too poufy for my taste. The back has an American Bustle that was really easy to do up.
The dress is a 6, but it has been altered to fit me like a glove. My measurements are 34", 28", 34" and I am 5'3" and wore 5-inch platform heels with it. This could easily be taken in for a petite bride, as well as suit a taller bride with a more mid-height heel!
The color, fabric, and simplicity of this dress can be taken in so many directions, and I hope someone else will feel as beautiful in it as I did!
