Romantic Sleeveless Lace Mermaid Wedding Dress with Unique V-Back
This Pronovias Atelier dress was handmade in Barcelona. This dress was a dream to wear and I consistently got compliments that no one had seen a style like this before. It is sexy yet classic and demure at the same time. This dress is made of rebrodé lace. Very light beige/nude lace with off-white rebrodé floral detail, sheer dress. Some subtle sparkle in the lace. Comes with a beige nude liner and lace-covered buttons down the back.
I did not need any shapewear, the dress has some boning in the bodice that keeps the shape of the dress.
Alterations: This dress originally had buttons down the back from the nape of the neck to the top of the bottom. but alterations were done to the dress to open up the back for a backless effect. The alterations were done by The Gown Gallery Bridal in Kansas City. Long train with 3-part bustle - 3 different attachment areas for bustle.
With the leftover material from the dress, a custom birdcage veil with alligator clips was created for this dress (as shown in the last photo). I will be including the veil in the purchase of this dress.
Sizing: For context, I am about 5'7" and was wearing a 2.5-inch heel on the day of the wedding. I weigh 120lbs and wear a size 4. This dress was true to size (size 4) and fit me like a glove - no alterations were needed.
